Position Summary
The Pickleball Program Assistant supports the daily operation of pickleball programming at the Aquaplex. This position assists with league nights, drop-in sessions, and special events while helping ensure programs run smoothly for participants.
This role will primarily work evenings and occasional weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support
- Assist with the operation of pickleball leagues and drop-in sessions.
- Help organize players and manage court rotations.
- Support weekend events such as tournaments and training sessions.
Participant Experience
- Welcome players and assist with check-in when needed.
- Provide basic guidance to new players and beginners.
- Help maintain a positive and friendly environment during programs.
Facility Setup
- Assist with setting up and taking down pickleball equipment.
- Ensure courts are prepared and ready for play.
Event Assistance
- Support the coordinator during tournaments or special events.
- Help monitor gameplay and ensure fair and safe participation.
Qualifications
- Interest or experience in pickleball or recreational sports.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work evenings and occasional weekends.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
Compensation
- 10–20 hours per week
- $17 hourly wage
