Winter at Mill River comes with plenty of ways to enjoy the season.
- WINTER ACTIVITIES -
Outdoor winter activities may vary depending on weather conditions.
Tubing
A great way to enjoy a winter day. The slope is a favourite with kids, but adults can get in on the fun too. It’s located just steps from the resort, right beside the Pro Shop, making it an easy stop for a quick run outside.
Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Skiing
Who could say no to a chance to snowshoe or cross-country ski on a brilliant winter day? Explore kilometres of groomed trails throughout the Mill River Resort grounds, winding through mature forest and along lakes, streams, and the beautiful Mill River.
Skating
Imagine looking outside and seeing the sun cut through the trees and the fresh ice catching the light. Grab your coffee and head out for a skate. The outdoor rink at Mill River is a great way to get outside and enjoy the day. Lace up and take a few laps.
Skates rentals are not available on-site; guests are encouraged to bring their own.
Indoor Fun
There’s just as much fun indoors at Mill River as there is outside. Spend time in the Aquaplex with the pool, sauna, whirlpool, squash courts, basketball, and a 90-foot waterslide. And when you’re ready to unwind, our indoor games room and quiet spaces are the perfect winter reset.
Winter Bonfires
Eventually the sun will go down, but the fun doesn’t end there. Bundle up and head out to the fire for s’mores, marshmallows, and our signature hot chocolate.
